The team at Linden is made up of a group of real estate professionals with diverse backgrounds and over 50 years of combined experience developing, acquiring, and financing multifamily projects. Through our regional focus, hands-on approach to real estate investing, and passion for workforce housing, we strive to achieve the best possible outcomes for our investors, communities, and residents.







Wade Casstevens is the Founder and Managing Partner of Linden Property Group, an Arlington, VA-based operator of workforce and affordable housing communities. Since founding Linden Property Group in 2010, he has led the creation of a $375 million portfolio of communities located throughout the Mid-Atlantic United States. Before establishing Linden, he founded and led the Development Investment Group at Federal Capital Partners, a national real estate private equity firm with $5 billion of assets under management. Wade was also a Development Director at Post Properties where he entitled, planned, and developed $250 million of mixed-use projects in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Prior to Post Properties, he worked at Bear Stearns Commercial Mortgage where he financed over $500 million of commercial properties. He received an MBA from Columbia Business School where he was the recipient of the Gus Grammas Scholarship for finance, and a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Wade serves as a member of the Affordable Housing Committee at Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC-Chapel Hill. He lives in Arlington, VA with his wife and three children.

Christian joined Linden Property Group as Chief Operating Officer in August of 2021. He is responsible for the firm’s capital markets, investor relations, and corporate operations activities. He has arranged over $150 million in debt and equity financing across Linden’s current portfolio. Prior to joining Linden, Christian was in acquisitions and asset management at Spear Street Capital, where he completed over $250 million in acquisitions and financings of office assets and oversaw over $20 million in capital work. While at Columbia Business School, Christian was a summer associate at Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing (MSREI), where he worked in acquisitions on behalf of their core and opportunistic fund vehicles. Before enrolling in business school, Christian worked as an Associate at Federal Capital Partners (FCP), focusing on multifamily acquisitions. At MSREI and FCP, Christian acquired and financed over $700 million in real estate assets. Christian received his BA from Harvard University, where he was a member of the Men’s lacrosse team, and his MBA from Columbia Business School, where he graduated with honors and was awarded the Alexander Bodini Real Estate Fellowship. He lives in Washington, D.C.

Since joining Linden Property Group in January 2020, Bobby has managed the firm’s largest assets in the middle and southern Virginia markets, including Richmond, Newport News, and Virginia Beach. As Vice President, she focuses on building strong relationships with property partners to ensure best in-class management of all Linden properties. In addition, she is responsible for the planning and execution of capital improvement work for the company, over $15 million annually. Prior to Linden, Bobby worked at Clear Real Estate Services, where she managed the execution of $35 million in commercial projects in the region, including the Whitman Walker Health 14th Street project in Washington, D.C. She also worked at CSG Urban Partners, where she managed development efforts for large non-profit organizations, including the YMCA of Greater Washington, American Baptist Churches USA, and Mary’s Center. Currently, Bobby serves as Co-Chair of the ULI Washington Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) Steering Committee and is an active member of Real Estate Group in Washington, D.C. She holds a Ph.D. in Construction Management from Arizona State University and a BSB in Finance from the University of Minnesota. She lives in Washington, D.C.

As Vice President, Mark’s primary responsibilities include sourcing acquisitions, underwriting, transaction execution, and portfolio management. During his time at Linden, Mark has completed more than $240 million of acquisitions and dispositions. Since joining Linden in 2018, Mark has served in every facet of the firm’s business, including asset management, fundraising, acquisitions, capital markets, dispositions, and human capital development. Prior to joining Linden Property Group, Mark spent three years as a Senior Research Associate at CoStar Group covering commercial real estate in the D.C., Chicago, Dallas, and Oklahoma City markets. He obtained his MBA with a Real Estate Concentration from Georgetown University and has a BA in Economics from the University of Maryland. Mark lives in Potomac with his wife and two sons.

As Operations Manager for Linden Property Group, Michelle ensures the successful operation of investor relations, purchase and sale transactions, accounting, marketing, and human resource functions. She has over 25 years of experience in project management, transactional sales and execution, branding, and customer relationship marketing. Prior to joining Linden, Michelle worked for Nordstrom where she managed the execution of 20+ East Coast store openings, oversaw six store-wide renovation projects and led sales and marketing teams through over 150 events with $30+ million budgets annually. Michelle graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Studies and a minor in Marketing. She is on the Board of Cornerstone Schools of DC and a passionate literacy volunteer and advocate in her local public school system. She lives in Falls Church, Virginia, with her husband and two boys.

Lucas joined Linden as an Asset Management and Acquisitions Analyst in March 2022. He is responsible for analyzing new acquisitions and managing a portfolio of assets for Linden. Prior to joining Linden, Lucas worked for Walker & Dunlop as a GSE Underwriting Analyst, where he helped underwrite & submit over $450 million in approved financing to Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac. During college, Lucas interned with Linden Property Group, where he focused on underwriting acquisition opportunities and producing research reports across Linden’s geography. Lucas also interned with Gates Hudson as a leasing agent, working at seven properties within their portfolio. He is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Virginia and graduated with honors from Virginia Tech with a BA double majoring in Finance & Real Estate. Lucas lives in Northern Virginia.
